Our Story

In their four years travelling the globe, Vincent Conti and Mario Minichilli discovered authentic masala tea throughout Asia. Upon returning to Australia they opened a café in St Kilda and began developing a chai blend inspired by those they’d fallen in love with in India.

As they perfected their recipe, customers grew to love their chai and fate brought about a friendship with Koray Gencel.

Prana Chai was born!

Our process is beautiful in its simplicity. Prana Chai is hand crafted using a premium blend of fresh, whole spices sourced from many parts of the world including India, Sri Lanka and Guatemala. We blend these spices with 100% Black Ceylon tea and just enough organic honey to bring out the rich flavors and begin the infusion process. Then we put it in a bag and send it on its merry way.

Our ingredients are all natural and good for you. We don’t use machines, additives, artificial sweeteners, preservatives or added sugar. It’s an honest product and we take pride in the unique presentation, balance of flavor, aroma and freshness of Prana Chai.
